Lexington Nursing Home has been my home away from home for over 6 years. I currently work here as the clinical manager over our rehab department as well as practicing Occupational Therapist. My experience in therapy has been well over 14 years of rehab in a variety of places across the country. Saying this, I recommend Lexington Nursing Home for all aspects of care for anyone’s loved ones!
This small-town facility is exactly that, but is far greater than what most big cities can provide. We truly care about the people that choose for this to be their home, as well as provide the extra care for the skilled patients that come only for rehab. Our therapy department prides itself on the ability to rehabilitate and send those home stronger than they were before they were sick.
Approximately 75% of the patients that come in skilled just for therapy return home to their prior independent lives. This is not only accomplished by the great therapy team that we have here, but also a great nursing staff. I am proud to be a part of the family here at Lexington Nursing Home and know our residents are too.

We came to Lexington Nursing Home April 16th, 2016 when H.D. needed extended care. It has been an interesting and good experience.
The staff has been very good to us and works hard to help us in every situation. The facility is very clean. The CNAs are attentive, and the nurses are helpful and available.
The food is great!!
We write this letter of appreciation and recognition for the staff at Lexington Nursing Home. The care extended by your staff- including janitorial. nursing, activities, therapy, food service and administration- has been filled with professionalism, compassion and care for our Mom.
Unfortunately, Mom has been in long term care for the past 15 years. We can honestly say that we have been pleasantly surprised at the special care and smooth transition that was provided by your staff. The staff worked with the family as well as with Mom to help us all through this difficult period.
Thanks for being such a dedicated and caring staff. We feel very comfortable knowing Mom is being looked after with love and respect. We look forward to our continued journey with this excellent facility.

I not only work at Lexington Nursing Home, but I have had several family members reside here as well. The wonderful thing about this facility is they allow you time with your family. I enjoyed the final days of my great-aunt, my grandmother, my mother, and my sister all here at Lexington Nursing Home. I was able to stay Friday nights with my mom, and on several occasions my family has used the activity room for meals and gatherings while having family stay at the facility. This facility is not perfect- they make mistakes (we lose socks frequently!), but they try to provide a homey, comfortable place for each resident.
